- In line with the University’s tradition of honor and excellence, IE Club has guided and assisted its members by instilling in them a sense of responsibility to do their best in both academic and extra-curricular endeavors. The organization continually produces honor graduates and is a consistent finalist in Stat-is-Eeks, an annual inter-university statistics quiz show participated by over 50 colleges. Constantly one of the top 3 organizations in the Freshmen Orientation Program Committee (FOPC), IE Club is also a member of the steering committee. FOPC is a committee under the UP Diliman’s Office of the Guidance Counselor which aims to raise funds for the activities and materials substantive in welcoming the incoming freshmen by linking more than 60 organizations in the University to amass newspapers and old clothes for a big end-of-summer rummage sale. IE Club has also been awarded the title Engineering Week Over-all Champion (EWOC) nineteen out of twenty-two times. The Engineering Week is an annual pre-Christmas break event covering various sports and talent competitions.
