Unibrain S.A. was founded in 1986 in Athens and in 2000 it established Unibrain Inc. in San Ramon, California, USA to promote, sell and support its customers in the United States. At the same year, Unibrain entered into a strategic alliance with Intracom S.A., the largest Greek new technologies company with domestic and international activity. Intracom S.A. acquires a 30% share in Unibrain. Unibrain is a public company traded in the New Market (NEXA) of the Athens Stock Exchange as of April 30th, 2001.
Unibrain’s FireWire products enable consumer electronics vendors, integrators and software companies to dynamically enter the FireWire market: to design, manufacture, and sell products that end users can start using today.
