Description
As the initials imply, TLC takes a "tender loving care" approach to helping our clients. If, through service and example, we can extend God's love to them, our clients will be better prepared to make a loving decision to choose LIFE.
The network of 23 LifeCare Centers now spans Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. Twelve Centers are in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Three are in Wisconsin and eight in greater Minnesota. Each affiliate is directed by its own local board, and is locally funded and staffed. This gives each LifeCare Center great flexibility in meeting the needs of local clients. However, the Centers also work as a "family" on issues of broad concern, and one Center may coordinate its efforts with other Centers in order to be more effective. For example, some Centers offer ultrasound or pre-natal medical services, to which other Centers may refer their clients.
As a support-organization, Total LifeCare Centers, Inc. (TLC), establishes the mission & policies for the affiliated Life-Care Centers throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. TLC assists these Centers in many ways (see Locations page to locate our Centers):
