"In the spring of 97 we left our careers and sold our home in Vancouver. We decided to begin a journey of North America and Mexico.
Originally we thought this would occupy us for one year. After three years as nomads it was time to find a new home. This turned out to quite a challenge. We just could not find the right place. Then finally just as we were about to give up we discovered this charming tranquil property with huge evergreens and lovely garden on Salt Spring. It was love at first sight.
We spend our summer time maintaining and upgrading this wonderful place while counting on our vagabond tendencies to take us south during the winter and reconnect with our friends we've had the good fortune to meet over our years on the open road.
