We’re so glad you asked. The Pauper is a brand new web portal and network of information, tools, and resources for the artist and creative communities.
The Pauper is the brainchild of three “starving artists”, all of whom were working in the financial planning industry and saw the desperate need for such services in the artist and creative communities. Originally started as an online newsletter in 2000, The Pauper has since grown to become the premiere website for helping artists with their money and finances.
Funded with little to no money whatsoever, the site has naturally gone through many growing pains to get to where we are. The fact that we’re still alive on the net, either means one of two things: 1) we’re in reality dead and our ghosts are walking around in cyberspace hacking away as if everything’s normal, or 2) The Supreme Being doesn’t really hate us, but has actually been testing us to see if we were truly committed. We think it’s the latter, but then one can never be too sure about these things nowadays.
