- Welcome to TheMusicBlogger.com. Let me introduce myself. My name is Derrick Fung, and I am the creator and one of the main contributors to this website. One of my past projects includes QualitySheetMusic, a website which offers musicians free sheet music downloads. QualitySheetMusic is a site which had over 40 000 members. I sold this website in May of 2007 due to a lack of passion for the website - that’s when TheMusicBlogger.com started. I started playing the piano at the age of 4, and quit in Grade 8 under the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Soon after, I began to pursue playing the guitar, bass guitar, and a little bit of drums. Not long ago, I also took on the challenge of building my own home studio. Though it’s not yet perfect, the whole process has been a great learning process. My expertise outside of music lies in Business, focusing on Finance and Strategic Management.
