- I am a 19-year-old student at the pretentiously named Norwich University College of the Arts, currently in my second year of studying Creative Writing. I’ve been into writing for about six years, ever since I read Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy. For the most part I write short stories, though I have had a stab at writing a couple of longer pieces, only one of which ever got finished. I’m not really sure which genre I work in predominantly; I used to write a lot of fantasy-type pieces, but for that last couple of years I’ve been more focused on stories dealing with the interactions and relationships between people.
