What are the aims of SVR-Net?
SVR-Net aims to provide a central index for the SVR sites. Any site can become a member upon request, providing the information on the website is accurate and up-to-date. There are many unofficial sites out there on the web which contain false or outdated information which gives the wrong impression of the Railway. Websites which become members will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. SVR-Net is not intended to become "big brother" in it's approach, we hope that all members share our goal of providing quality and accurate information about the Railway. Just because you are a member it does not mean losing control or your websites individuality.
How do I become a member?
To become a member simply email SVR-Net with the address and description of you site. Your website will be reviewed and linked within 48hrs.
What is required of my website to become a member?
You can become a member of SVR-Net if your website provides information about the SVR, or has a direct relationship with the SVR i.e. Locomotive Preservation Groups. You must also agree to include a link to all other member sites, or a single link to the SVR-Net links page. We would also ask for you to display the following logo although this is not compulsory.
