Located on Hammocks Gap just outside of Charlottsville Virginia, this modern facility is not only a shoppe for your fiber needs but also has a fully equipped dye studio and classroom space. Classes in weaving spinning, knitting and dyeing are taught throughout the year. Enrollment is limited so the student gets personal guidance and attention.
Barbara, the owner of Stony Mountain Fibers, is a member of: Handweavers Guild of America; a juried member of the Artisans Center of Virginia; Charlottesville Fibers Artist Guild; Fall Fiber Festival of Virginia, Inc; Eagle Voice Center; Wolfsong Spring Teaching Lodge; Stone Mountain Lodge.
