Sonoma CASA-- Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children in Sonoma County, California
Description
CASA of Sonoma County is the Court Appointed Special Advocate program for Sonoma County, California, assisting abused and neglected children. Sonoma CASA's goal is to reduce the trauma to abused and/or neglected children as they make their way through the complex and unfamiliar Juvenile Dependency Court and child welfare systems by matching a child with a trained CASA volunteer who will offer support and guidance over a long-term consistent relationship and friendship.
