- Have you ever resent having to type your name, e-mail address, home page url or other words or phrases again and again? Or do you frequently need quick access to images like your signature, location plan, or company logo? Typinator is a simple application that helps you to quickly insert phrases or pictures into your documents. Configuration is easy: You just define abbreviations and their replacement text or picture. Whenever you type one of these abbreviations in an arbitrary application, Typinator inserts the corresponding replacement. With the new version, Typinator is no longer a regular application visible in the dock and the application switcher, but rather a dockless background-only application that is acting unobtrusively in the background. A small icon in the menu bar gives quick access to Typinator's main window. It improves compatibility with Flash, Numbers, MS Office, Terminal, You-Control, and others. Furthermore, the built-in auto-correction dictionaries have been refined to enhance smooth multi-lingual auto-correction in all applications on Leopard. Here are some Typinator features:
