- Well, where to start. I am a college student in my earlier 20s, with about a year left and little clue on where I am headed after that. I am not majoring in finance but it is my current hobby that I am spending more and more time on. In the past I have worked several ‘a little above minimum wage’ type jobs, mostly low skill. While growing up I was not frugal at all but after I got my first job that changed a little. I was very good at saving my money and not splurging on smaller things but somewhat weaker when it came to larger purchases.
