PHPGeek.com is your home for resources related to using PHP on the Windows platforms. While you wouldn't know it by talking to most PHP advocates, PHP and Windows is a very popular combination. Unfortunately, many of the resources for PHP focus almost exclusively on using PHP on Unix-based platforms. This site sets out to rectify that situation.
Because almost everyone has access to a Windows workstation, and PHP itself is free, you can start using this powerful combination right away.
Getting Started
If you're looking to get started using PHP on Windows without futzing with the settings and installation, my own Sokkit web server toolkit installs the basics you need to start writing both commandline and web PHP scripts. It's available as a 30 day trial with a $19.95 registration fee. Between Sokkit and the rest of the downloads in our Downloads section, you can be solving real problems with PHP on your Windows workstation or server like a PHP Geek.
