ParisPerfect is a luxury vacation rental business that has grown over the last nine years from one apartment to the current. It was started by Frenchman Philippe, a former cardiac surgeon, who traded in the operating room for more entrepreneurial pursuits. The idea evolved when he and his American wife, Madelyn, remodeled his former bachelor pad in Paris into a lovely pied-a-terre that was frequently empty due to their relocation to London. Friends and acquaintances contacted them about renting it, as they wanted to experience the pleasure of living, eating and cooking in Paris rather than visiting from a small hotel room. Since Philippe had lived in the quartier for over 20 years, he heard about and acquired other “perfect” properties from local merchants and neighbors before they made it to the market. They both share a passion for Paris and love to help guests discover the fun and beauty of this wonderful city. They now live in London with their two children, and come to Paris weekly.
What makes www.parisperfect.com different is that we own or lease our apartments. Over the past decade, we have carefully selected only light-filled, outward-facing apartments in one of the best quartiers of Paris. They must have beautiful, old features and views which make guests say ‘Wow!’ when they walk inside. Our philosophy is this: we would not like to live in a dark apartment which faces an inner courtyard, nor in an ‘evolving’ neighborhood. We don’t believe our guests should either. As in any city, this kind of property is the most expensive and the most difficult to find, but we are uncompromising in our standards. We prefer to offer a few beautiful apartments in a neighborhood we love than an a' la carte menu of mediocre ones.
The apartments must be located in a quartier which is unquestionably one of the most beautiful, central and safe in Paris. In the heart of the 7th arrondissement, our apartments are surrounded by cafe's, restaurants, shops and a short walking distance to the famous rue Cler market street and to three of the largest open markets in Paris.
