Description
In 2000, Navetur-Equatour included tours and trekking in the offer of services. As a natural consequence of the trekking, rural tourism was also made available.
In 2003, we were involved, on various levels, in defining a model of tourism for Sao Tomé and Principe, i.e. through our work in the National Council of Tourism.
In 2004, we had to run a lot faster to keep up with our good reputation, helped by Bradt's guide to Gabon and Sao Tomé and Principe, articles in the Independent, the Times, the Guardian, the BBC, the CNN Travel Magazine, Condé Nast and many more.
