I'm Waldo David Landers Jaquith (JAY-kwith). I live in Charlottesville, Virginia, where I work for Virginia Quarterly Review. I am a contributing editor to Campaigns and Elections Magazine. I graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2005.
My wife and I were married on September 4 of 2005. I've hiked most of the Appalachian Trail. I once ran for City Council. I ride a motorcycle and own firearms. I ride a unicycle, and I've been known to juggle and eat fire. I've won two VH1 Music Awards. When I'm squinting and blond, I look like this. When I'm all like maybe-I'm-running-for-office-maybe-I'm-not, I look like this.
According to The C-Ville Weekly, I'm "Charlottesville's favorite enfant terrible". Bob Gibson of the Charlottesville Daily Progress says I have "a wicked sense of humor." Forbes says that I'm a "grizzled veteran of the Internet scene". Some Romanian magazine says of me "Inca un geniu tinar care se manifesta mai degraba in ciuda sistemului decit datorita acestuia?
