- Initially, you will work on the development of enhancements and refinements to a very large application product used by ~50 law enforcement organizations across North America. With product experience, you may also gain customer contact in a support capacity to a group of customers. You will be responsible to understand the requirements, develop work plans and schedules for achievement, develop the new or altered software modules and components, unit test your work and collaborate with others for system and integration testing and documentation development. The applications are very large (>20,000 function points), have large relational data bases (>600 tables) and are deemed “mission critical, non-stop” in nature. You will report to a product manager for development work and other managers as appropriate when doing customer implementation and support.
