- I recently turned 22 (datestamp: 13.10.06). I turned 22 in my favorite country in the world, the country where I was born. Finally, after 12 years of being on an island with kangaroos, I got to return for a blissful 3 months to Poland.
I’m funny/hilarious/laugh out loud/roll on the floor/bang head on the desk on way down/and type from the floor kind of funny. I’m intelligent, arguementative, fair and loyal, sometimes stupidely so. I talk too much. I am not afraid to tell people I love them - unless it’s the romantic kind of love and then I run run run as far as I can in the other direction 200km/h in the wrong lane. I am pro-choice, pro-adoption. I don’t like racists, sexists & facists. I know a lot about a lot of things. I have a total of about 2 girlfriends as opposed to way too many guy friends. I believe that love is never jealous, mean people are just sad on the inside, that art & perfection together are an oxymoron and that perfection all in all is unnecessary. I am capable of being a bitch, but I try not to be. I love my friends with a fierce admiration and loyalty as they stop me from going crazy on a daily basis in this crazy world. No is just the beginning of negotiations, and my favorite words are “puki co” which means “for now”. Yet it means so much more.
Things I like to do – Stirring soup in Tomek’s house. Eating at Antek’s house, because he makes good spaghetti. Sleeping at my house because I love my bed. I love to write, paint, draw, create, read, play guitar, take pictures and be silly. I like to make tea in big pots and smell pigwy (which are small sweet lemons). I love to pretend that I’m six years old. I love to remenisce. I don’t like to procrastinate though I do it often. I love to have fun, and the most important thing to me is the people I am surrounded with, where, how, why and when is of no value. Insomnia bugs me. Perfecting the Melbourne Shuffle. Cruising along the beach, walking in the mountains, surfing, chillout sessions with my friends over psychoanalizy talks, laughing because it’s the only work out my stomach gets. Summer, winter, autumn & spring (depends what country!), learning “Bob Marley: Redemption Song” on guitar!

My favorite books include OF COURSE the Harry Potter series, Forgotten Realms, Lord of the Rings, anything by Paulina Simons, Marian Keyes/Maggie Alderson/Lauren Weisberger (love my trashy chick lit), Mitch Albom, Phillip K Dick, anything about photography/art/WW2/new age or psychology. Am under the impression that the psych books I have read mean I don’t need to study the subject, which was proven true during my many discussions with my psychology student friends in Poland. Love biographies (Prozac Nation), and true stories (The Stolen Children). Recently I bought myself the Art of War in China. I thought that was a nice touch.
Soon, I’m going to attempt to read a Herman Hesse.
