- One of the notable items that SP1 adds is that the same Windows Firewall component that XP SP2 adds is now also added to Servers. The concern that it would be enabled by default and break existing configurations has been assuaged a bit as WF is not enabled by default, just available. There is new wireless support for WPA and WPA2 - the ratified 802.11i - (TKIP and AES respectively) and SYN attack protection. I have had no trouble with it so you may want to get it and play with it on your Virtual PC before installing it on production machines.
