After having 3 separate and unique custom jewelry stores in the Los Angeles area from 1970-1990, we moved to Maui, Hawaii in 1991. We began here as a custom/fine jewelry shop on Lahaina town’s historic.... Front Street.
Our ocean front store was called "Turtle Reef" jewelers..... specializing in original 'Custom designs' using Diamonds, Tanzanite and Tahitian Black Pearls. As we did then, we continue to design and manufacture the 'finest quality'.....of ALL styles and designs..... with ALL types of gemstones. Our 'true specialty' was..... and stil is..... OPAL • Black Opal • Boulder Opal • Crystal Opal • and more.... (all types of 'Fire Opal').
Larry Smith, the owner, designer and GIA Graduate Gemologist (since 1971), hand-made much of the jewelry himself. He still takes pride in creating "Timeless and Classic" designs of the finest quality.... with good value; 30 years of satisfied customers will testify to that.
