The Poor-Man's GPS. That was the original concept behind MapMyRun.com. Although prices of runner's GPS units have decreased over the years, the founder of this site kept putting off buying one. Finally, after years of being frustrated with questions like, "How far did I run today?", or, "I wonder how many calories I burned?", MapMyRun.com came into fruition in July of 2005.
