MAL intensive driving school was conceived in 1977 and born in 2001. After years of trying different ideas, working for various franchise driving schools, employing my own instructors, training drivers to become instructors. MAL (short for Malcolm - founder and owner) was born.

Learning to drive on an intensive driving course is the modern way to learn to drive in the UK. Gone are the days you could learn to drive in a handful of driving lessons. The driving test has changed and is continuing to change, so must the the way we learn to drive change.

The old fashioned intensive driving course method of having your driving test at the end of a course will only work in a few cases. To pass your driving test from scratch you now need on average 50/60 lessons, very hard to achieve in a week!

The modern way is to take a 40 hour course over one week. Then book your driving test for 2/3 weeks away. Have 2/3 days intense driving lessons immediately before your test. The results are amazing. The national pass rate for the driving test is around 40%, using this new modern approach a pass rate of 90-100% is easily achieved.

Intensive driving courses keep you focused, whilst you are away from your normal day to day distractions.
