Hello! My name is Alfonso and I look forward to hosting you during your next stay in Madrid. I was born in Madrid, but I have lived in the United States for ten years. After quitting my job in the U.S. I traveled extensively across Asia before settling back again in Madrid, the city that I call home.
During my numerous travels around the world I have found that staying in a hotel or hostel is not always the ideal type of accommodation for the independent-minded traveler. Most budget hotel rooms feel like a cage, and after a long day of sightseeing I found it impossible to relax in those dingy, small cubicles. Thus arose the idea of Madridapart: to offer accommodation in apartments for visitors to Madrid. My objective is to offer good-value accommodation that will let visitors feel at home like a local "madrileño."
