Kyokushin Karate of Tampa is directed dojo under the I.K.O. Kyokushinkaikan International Department. Each Kyokushin Karate Instructor is a professionally trained and Japan-Certified Black Belt. Belt who has been carefully appointed to teach here by the Director of the I.K.O. Kyokushinkaikan, Kancho Shokei Matsui. Led by Shihan Katsuhito Gorai, we are an internationally diverse group; each with unique and exciting teaching methods and over 100 years combine teaching experiences. We take particular care with kids, seniors and beginners and provide personal attention to each student so as to help them meet their objectives. Each Kyokushin instructor started as a beginner, a white belt, and has worked hard to share with you his or her learned skill and philosophy. We never stop training and we never quit. Kyokushin is not just our profession; it is our life.
