- I started work at young age. At approximately 14 years old I was employed part-time at a local burger stand and have not stopped working since. At age 16 I began working for a landscape company and did so until I was 23. The job was seasonal so I was only working between four and six months per year. During that time I had the opportunity to work in a plethora of different industries; from computer assembly to food factories and from foundries to warehouses and everything "blue collar" in between.
