The city is Da Ye, the provence I have to double check. The reason is my grandpa’s 70th birthday party slash grand house opening slash big family reunion. I just found out that I have to give a speech with my cousin at the celebration luncheon tomorrow. I, thankfully, get to speak in English.The problem? I don’t know a good two thirds of the relatives in attendence and they’ve never seen me.
Anyway, that’s my little sob story for the day. My trip to China so far has been rather fruitful. I got a pretty new designer dress here (G.M.D - I’ve never heard of it before the dress) and some neat designer shoes in Beijing by the brand of Flanciulla. They had a nice logo and were very into green. I like. Then my aunt told me that green was the shoe color of trend this summer. They stole my color! I have yet to go present shopping. Pooey. One strange thing I discovered shopping for tailor-cut dresses and tops: my bust doesn’t always fit properly. You know, I always though my bustline was small. Interesting way to learn otherwise now. Well, here at least.
Still, it’s easier for short lil’ me to get clothes when compared with my 176cm tall cousin. That’s pushing 6ft, I think. Gah. No conversion chart/caculator. No spellcheck either.
