…and see/hear me read. On August 26th, i’ll be doing MC duties and reading my poetry at The Maple Grove Bar in Maple Heights for Jeff James’ birthday. The showcase will feature: Chase The Tale, Third Nature, Southern Fry and opening showcase sets by Dead Letter Room and Jeff James’ new project - The Black Roses. All this for a mere $2. Arrive early for pizza and drink specials. 9.00 p.m.
The editor of remark. magazine, Kathleen Paul-Flanagan, has asked me to be the guest-editor for the January issue, in which I gladly accepted. Submissions will be open between August 21st, 2006 and November 30th, 2006. No simultaneous submissions, previously published submissions, or bad poetry (what I deem to be bad poetry) will be accepted. Send no more than, and no less than, 3 poems. Do not send them directly to me. Send them to Kathleen via the regular submission process listed under the remark. guidelines.
FILF - The F Independent Literary Festival, will be held July 6th, 7th, and 8th. I will be in attendance as well as a participant on the 8th, joined by Derek Deprator.
