Since it's AboutUs not about me or any you or any other individual, always keep your eye fixed on the greatest good for the highest number of people around.
Why it's important
It's important because that's we are here for. If we don't achieve that end, whatever we are going to achieve will be a miserable success.
How do I go along it
You might have your own opinion regarding any aspect of AboutUs, just make sure that what you think the way you act upon is for the benefit of the community at large.
For example, you might think something like the following:
- Is the inclusiveness worth preserving what adult content enthusiasts are going to contribute?
- I don't see adult content website owners engaging their clients here. So many just remove contact information.
- I don't see folks who are here for porn using RealNames ... domain owners and enthusiasts alike (we encourage real people here, remember?)
- Transparency ... not usually a value for porn enthusiasts ... don't want people to know who owns what (another violation of our core values!)
- Haven't seen adult enthusiasts doing much building
- Is it worth the work?
- Adult pages (as of yet) are not built out pages, they're typically only bot scrapes
If you think like this just go to our AdultContentPolicy page and mold the policy the way you want it to be. If you think otherwise, (free speech, inclusiveness is more important) choose the same page for the purpose. But do let others see the rationale behind what you are saying. You can do likewise on other issues that you think are vital for the community. See also:

- I have seen three people interested in adult content build out their pages. I think that having them behind a walled garden might help, maybe not. The thing that would best help, would be for us to completely remove all bot scraped categories, so real people can build up the category system... My 2 cents. MarkDilley

I'm all for a category system built by real people. When I first used AboutUs I wanted to find out what had already been written here. It was difficult to discover how to do this. The categories are useful in showing people the breadth of topics covered in AboutUs but they need to be more easily accessible to a newcomer. Tanwir Shah
