The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) is a non-profit destination marketing organization (DMO), which markets Washington County, Oregon, as a tourism destination and actively markets the area to business, and leisure travelers, meeting, sport and event planners, and other segments of travelers. In its efforts, the WCVA acts as the region’s primary destination marketing organization (DMO), markets the communities within Washington County, indentifies key tourism attractors to the area, such as nature, wine and sport, and provides assistance to meeting planners, sports organizers, group tour planners and others who plan events, trips and tournaments.

In addition to serving the destination as outlined above, the WCVA serves the destination with comprehensive marketing efforts, including advertising, sales, public relations, online marketing, tourism research and other marketing activities. Among recent activities conducted are: launching new brand for consumer audiences, introducing new consumer and industry websites, creating a new visitors guide for consumers, and producing a new road map specifically highlighting area attractions and lodging properties.

As a service to travelers, the WCVA also operates a Visitor Information Center, which provides information about transportation lodging, attractions and activities, wineries and parks and recreational facilities in Washington County, as well surrounding areas. All of the information is free to the public. Hours of operation for the Visitor Information Center are Monday through Friday (holidays excluded), 9 am – 5 pm.
