- The Shameless Strangers formed in early 2003 as a duo consisting of their two main guitar players, Mike Dashnaw and Will Scheifley. Playing both covers and infectious originals, the two guitarists both humored crowds with their funny songs and left crowds in awe of their colorful mastery of the five stringed instrument. Mike and Will played small gigs at open mics and coffee shops, honing their craft for their adoring fans while picking up new ones wherever they went. Their catchy songs still seem to strike the funny bone of listeners who both laugh and nod their head to the lyrics and rhythm of these two masters of guitar and tongue-in-cheek humor. After three years of perfecting their sound, Will and Mike felt it would be best to start a full band.
