- We're a family owned business based out of our little urban row home in Baltimore city. Like almost everyone else who opens up a baby shop, the idea of Urban Baby Runway came to us shortly after the birth of our first (and only) son, Julian, in July 2005. We never knew how much fun it would be to have a little human we could control and play dress up! We also didn't know how hard it was to find baby attire that reflected our personal tastes, we wanted people to know Julian was ours and putting him in clothing covered in trucks and baseballs wasn't going to cut it.
