WikiText is the text typed into the edit box upon clicking the edit link. Also it can refer to the simplified markup used by the Mediawiki softwared that runs this site, which is much easier than learning HTML. The most important bit is to use the double bracket syntax, like [[link]] - to make internal links (WikiLinks.
