Murad Skincare has over sixty consumer skincare products along with many professional strength treatments preferred by estheticians and dermatologists nation-wide and internationally. The Murad product lines include Anti-Aging, Body Care, Sun Protection and Murad Acne Complex®.
Dr. Murad developed Acne Complex® to treat all causes and types of breakouts. Murad Acne Complex® is a 3-step skincare system which consists of the following:
Step 1- Cleanse/Tone Clarifying Cleanser- Contains Salicylic Acid, Green Tea Extract and Menthol.
Step 2- Treat/Repair
Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel- Contains Retinol and Glycolic Acid.
Step 3- Hydrate/Protect
Skin Perfecting Lotion- contains Retinol, Queen of Meadow Extract and Arnica.
The Murad brand of products are available at retail stores such Sephora and Pure Beauty and select spas and salons worldwide, including the Murad Medical Spa. They are also available online at www.murad.com.
Murad Acne Complex® is sold through an infomercial and online at www.acnecomplex.com. The full size kit may also be found in select salons, spas and retail stores.

Howard Murad is widely acknowledged as a leading authority on skin health. A board-certified dermatologist, pharmacist, and Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA, he oversees a Medical Spa and Dermatology practice in LA.
Dr. Murad has treated over 50,000 patients over the last 30 years. This experience gave him direct insight into his patients’ skin care needs and inspired him to develop his own line of products that they could use at home. By 1987, Dr. Murad had developed his first three products, some of the earliest cosmeceuticals to ever appear of the market. He called his line Murad. Some of the three initial products are still selling today: Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Gel, Skin Smoothing Treatment and Combination Skin Treatment. Dr. Murad introduced his breakthrough discovery, The Water Principle®, in his books Wrinkle Free Forever and The Cellulite Solution.
Dr. Murad holds presently holds 17 patents representing breakthroughs in aging skin and acne.
1988- First to establish a medically supervised “day spa” where estheticians train with a Dermatologist to promote overall wellness, while approaching the skin scientifically and holistically. Today the Murad Medical Spa is located in El Segundo, CA.
