- Modmancer is a childish project, *completely* non-commercial, maintained by a group of extreme cyber-traditionalists, entirely for fun. Simply put - it’s all about games, music in games, demos and freelance artists back in the old days who helped establishing the computer scene which lead to the digital world as we know it today. It’s a monument we contribute to all those fanatics who made astonishing music, typing thousands of silly-looking 3-digit values in a potential-cause-of-death-looking matrix with only 4 audio channels, better known as trackers. (oh, the lucky ones had 8 channels and more reason to be carried away by epileptic seizures)
