The Broward Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, (BAIFA) is a grass roots professional association representing financial service professionals. BAIFA, formerly known as the Broward County Association of Life Underwriters, (BCALU) enjoys a prestigious history of promoting ethics, education, and community service spanning more than five decades. BAIFA is part of a network representing more than 65,000 financial advisors nationwide. The state organization, the Florida Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (FAIFA) and the national organization, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, (NAIFA) provide support to the local organizations. They are also very active in the political process by monitoring issues raised in both Tallahassee and Washington. Both FAIFA and NAIFA are among the largest politically active organizations in the financial service industry in their respective areas.
