Kamen Rider is one of the most known heroes around the world. It's a "franchise" started by Toei Company in 1971 (with Kamen Rider 1) and is being produced even today (with Kamen Rider Kabuto).
One of the national heroes in Japan that have reached other countries from almost all continents.
The hero consists basically on a man kidnapped by a terrorist/demon organization that takes his humanity out transforming him into a killer cyborg for dominating the world.
Kamen Riders always got their will back and then start fighting the bad guys to save our world (or just Tokyo ^_^).
With wonderful effects and stunt scenes the "franchise" makes millions of yen (japanese money) for it's producer Toei and the Bandai Enterprise (that made the toys).
Now the Kabuto season is finishing and all people are expecting what the 2007 hero will do: fight for justice or for the evil side!
