Note: There is not always a staff member actively online, so if no one answers contact AboutUs another way.
Changing your Nickname
Your default nickname will be "WebUser" or something like "Web270", but we encourage you to introduce yourself by changing this to your name. You can change your nickname in the chat room via the "Change nick to" box at the bottom right.
Won't load?
If the chat window won't load, check that you have Java enabled and installed.
Still can't get it to work?
- Try the Freenode.net access to AboutUs LiveChat or contact AboutUs another way. You can also try our alternate client which uses no Java.
It really really won't work?
- If you still can't get it to work, don't fret. Give MiCCAS an email. . He will be able to assist you getting online. Please only email him as a last resort!
Use IRC?
Our LiveChat uses Internet Relay Chat (IRC), a protocol allowing for real-time chatting over the internet. If you have IRC software that you would prefer to use see AboutUs IRC for details.
