PortlandTech/Instructions
Revision as of 07:22, 2 November 2007 by TakKendrick (talk | contribs) (Creating basic instructions)
Most of the list you see in the various PortlandTech sub-category pages come from the intersection of two category tags (found at the bottom of WikiPages).
The syntax for generating these lists are simple:
This then generates a list of pages that have both categories on them.
For use in the PortlandTech pages, the first category is always [[Category:PortlandTech]] and the others are logical categories, as listed on the pages, under the page lists. Currently, these categories are:
- [[Category:Company]]
- [[Category:Software]]
- [[Category:Venture Capital]]
- [[Category:Law Firm]]
- [[Category:Other Company]]
- [[Category:Media]]
- [[Category:Blog]]
- [[Category:Wiki]]
- [[Category:Forum]]
- [[Category:Newspaper]]
- [[Category:Website Only]]
- [[Category:Other Media]]
- [[Category:Groups]]
- [[Category:User Group]]
- [[Category:Community]]
- [[Category:Organization]]
- [[Category:Other Group]]
- [[Category:People]]
- [[Category:Consultant]]
- [[Category:Lawyer]]
- [[Category:CEO]]
- [[Category:CFO]]
- [[Category:Other Management]]
Naturally, where appropriate, please tag PortlandTech pages with multiple categories to make sure the WikiPage is on all appropriate lists. (For example: [[Category:PortlandTech]] [[Category:Blog]] [[Category:User Group]] will place a blog that serves as a user group's website on both the "Blog" and "User Group" page listings.)
