Title
BSDnotebook
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- First of all, I need a modem. But my modem is defined as ugen (standart USB device), and of course it did not work. Why BSD is not properly use the modem ? This is becasue modem has so called “pci ID”, who not known to FreeBSD. To help BSD, you simply add the necessary Vendor and “pci ID” codes to a file /usr/src/sys/dev/usbmisc/ugen/ugen.c . Where to find these codes ? Run command usbdevs.
