Verizon bait and switch
- Verizon DSL services are frequently rolled out to neighborhoods that are soon switching to FIOS service. The customers are lured in at the low DSL rates, then aggressive sales people will call, trying to upgrade the customer to FIOS service, which is nearly 2.5 times more expensive. The sales people have been trained to even deceive the DSL customer by saying, "there will be no additional increases to your monthly bill". Verizon is a deceitful company. If you have a choice, don't use their services.
