Title
CommunityWiki: FrontPage
Description
Welcome to the CommunityWiki! This is a jam-session. We don’t know where we are going. We talk about communities both online and offline: Management, teaching, conflicts, mediation, and some tech talk mostly about tools used for online communities.
ZergCreep
The “Zerg Creep” is a Python module written by LionKimbro that aims to make a lot of ContentRouting problems very easy to solve.
For example, say you want to add some short piece of text to a wiki page in the middle of working on something else. Right now you have to drop down to the desktop, start a web browser, wait for it to boot, go to web page, navigate to the place I want to edit, hit the edit button, find the proper place to put the thing, put the thing there, hit the save button, confirm it worked. With ZergCreep, you will be able to just open a file, write a line, save it, and then go back to your work. Later, ZergCreep will look at that file, see that you have some text in there “addressed to the wiki”, and it will “route” that text to the wiki.
