== Column for Ads by Google is too narrow ==

In the column of "Ads by Google", the width is sometimes not enough for the URL to fit, with the result that the URL appears to be truncated. This happens with both the old skin and the new one. --[[User:Eohippus|Eohippus]] 08:31, 5 September 2007 (PDT)

== Editing in Opera ==

Editing pages using Opera has, as of last Thursday or Friday, given the following problems:

* Show Preview doesn't work

* Clicking on Save Page doesn't seem to do anything, and one doesn't leave the edit box but refreshing the page shows that it has been updated.

I have to agree with this. Several of the functions do not work either. I find it strange since Opera is the only webbrowser to meet every web standard. (Hell they even wrote some of them.)) --[[User:Skydork|Nick]] 22:46, 16 November 2007 (PST)

== AddThis social bookmarking -- Facebook posts lose page thumbnail images ==

I was excited to see the AddThis widget, could think of a bunch of uses for posting AboutUs pages to Facebook. But there's a problem -- if you use the domain tools thumbnail as the image for the Facebook posted item, it turns into a tiny thumbnail of a domain tools error message. Here's the sequence: [http://joechip.net/brian/asset/aboutus%20thumbnail%20Picture%201.png]

[http://joechip.net/brian/asset/aboutus%20thumbnail%20Picture%202.png]

I've tried it with a few AboutUs pages, getting the same result. --[[User:Brian Kerr|Brian Kerr]]

==AdultContentPolicy splash page ==

Because ACP doesn't pass along arguments, if the splash page is tabbed out for patrolling before you have visited the splash screen the ones you have opened already are worthless.

== Subdomains ==

<s>

I noticed that the link at the top of an article to the website itself does not handle subdomains correctly. For example, instead of going to <nowiki>http://midnr.startspot.nl/</nowiki> the link goes to <nowiki>http://www.midnr.startspot.nl/</nowiki>. Some servers seem to "detect" the www and then redirect to the domain instead of the subdomain. [[midnr.startspot.nl]] is an actual example of this.

I think this has been addressed in most cases.  Unfortunately, it's not going to work 100% of the time given the data we have.  -[[User:Stephen Judkins|Stephen Judkins]] 13:10, 24 October 2007 (PDT)

== AdultSplash shouldn't include the leading / ==

The pagename includes the leading slash when you hit the AdultSplash page.  Perhaps AdultSplash should use the title::getPrefixedText function rather than the title::getLocalUrl or whatever it is using?

I would be logged in if I could "join". Unfortunately, the required image in the box was not visible. If you have system requirements, it would save frustration if such requirements were stated. --- I tried using both Firefox and Safari, by the images did not show up in either browser. {{Unsigned|66.235.26.191}}

== Firefox/2.0.0.8 on the Mac doesn't seem to work with AboutUs  ==

http://www.aboutus.org and almost every other AboutUs page displays only a null page from Firefox/2.0.0.8 or Firefox/2.0.0.9 on my Macintosh G5 running OS X Version 10.4.10

Settings:

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9

http://www.aboutus.org/cbc.ca redirects correctly to http://www.aboutus.org/CBC.ca , but that is another null page.

http://www.aboutus.org/robots.txt displays correctly, though.

== Bot Error ==

The bot generated page for [[ExtraRealtyPR.com]] links to http://www.cinematographer.ir/ through its thumbnail, and I can't find any relation between the two domains: http://www.aboutus.org/index.php?title=ExtraRealtyPR.com&oldid=3688699. I asked AboutUsBot to add [[Anglo-Indians.com]], and it scraped the dmoz description for an unrelated site, [[Cd-Finder.com]]. [[Anglo-Indians.com]] doesn't seem to be listed in the main part of DMOZ, although it appears at http://editors.dmoz.org/Bookmarks/Z/zahra/Ethnic_Studies/ Could the developer team please take a look? --[[User:Eohippus|Eohippus]] 20:06, 19 November 2007 (PST)
