Who
Why
Millions of people across the world are learning English as a foreign language. Potentially we have a huge audience that we should tap into. So the main reason for this portal is to generate a high volume of traffic.
Income could be generated through sponsored language centers and EFL related advertising.
Done When
Some sections, such as the language school section will end when we run out of language schools to feature, but that will probably take so long that we should consider the portal as ongoing.
Actionable Tasks
- Feature sites in the different sections of the portal.
- Contact language schools to inform them that they have been featured on AboutUs
- Encourage contributions from people in the EFL world
- Monitor these contributions.
- Make sure all references are WikiLinked to their DomainPages on AboutUs.
- Put featured blurbs on the DomainPage itself, just like we do with main AboutUs featured sites.
- When a site moves from "featured" to "previously featured", make sure we're linking to the domain page from the PreviouslyFeatured page.
