Who
ConsensusPollTour is a One and Done Project
Why we're doing this?
We want any easy way to walk people through the concepts of ConsensusPolling.
It will be done when:
All tour pages are done, with consistent navigation and style, covering all areas of consensus polling.
Project Tasks
Clearly documenting the whole process in a tour on the WikiAnatomy page
-
really rough draft of tour framework - refactor everything :-)
- the tour is not necessarily about the technical aspects of what we're doing, but it's to get people familiar with the concepts - maybe we'll eventally have beginner and advanced tours. What I think we should focus on some key questions and their answers:
- What's wrong with voting?
- What does wiki do for us? (the document is alive)
- How do we know we're making progress? (the status indicators)
- How do we know when we're done? (GoThresholds)
- What do we do if we cannot agree? (this speaks to facilitation issues, including discussion areas)
- What about sneaky last-minute changes? (answer answer is the DoneTimer - in fact DoneTimer should not be included above when talking about how we know when we're done
- How can I do more? (roles)
- notes:
- I don't know what the "how do we finish" page is for :-)
- I don't know where the overall page about consensus polling goes, if anywhere - it seems too detailed for the tour - maybe it's a "for more information" kind of thing?
