RSS is a way of formatting content from news services, similiar sites and weblogs for easy dissemination to the public. The format is used by webmasters to allow users to subscribe to their favorite websites. The information, news, or posts are saved in a standardized format which can be viewed and organized through RSS-aware software on computers, PDAs and cellphones.
