Having worked in the voluntary sector for seven years, it seemed a natural progression to form a partnership to offer our clients the benefits of our diverse backgrounds and wide range of knowledge and experience. SCPP was founded in 1998 in the belief that working together in a supportive environment enables us to be stronger, more effective and more resourceful. This has become the foundation of our work.

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society. I also have a background in general and mental health nursing. I was a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at South Bank University and a project manager working with a number of NHS Trusts and Health Authorities in South London before making the transition to working mainly as a Counselling Psychologist with organisations and individuals.

I practised as a counsellor and co-ordinator at St Marylebone Healing & Counselling Centre, as counsellor, supervisor and trainer with Cruse Bereavement Care, as supervisor for Westminster Bereavement Service and have worked with parents and young children in a primary care setting.
