- Geriatric Care Management Services
- GCM services begin with a comprehensive assessment of the older adult's specific needs. These often include requests for home health care, family mediation, elder care placement services, and non-medical supports such as transportation and insurance coverage issues.
- Professional Development
- This program introduces social workers to extended care setting. Choose from either a one day training that covers the nuts and bolts of the interdisciplinary team to the state survey process. Opt for a second day and learn how to manage and find resources for patients with multiple, complex psychosocial problems.
- Temporary Social Work
- Social Work in Progress also provides temporary social work services to cover medical leaves as well as other staff transitions and position vacancies. SWiP offers reasonable rates and is fully insured.

- Jules Giggie, MSW, LICSW
- Ms. Giggie has worked in the longterm care industry for over 14 years. She has been an eldercare consultant for a large health care company for over seven years, providing training and seminars to corporations in the Greater Boston area. She holds a BA from Clark University and an MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin.
- Sarah Wright, MSW, LICSW
- She has worked with older adults for nearly ten years and served as an expert reviewer of an interactive, self-paced online training course for the Institute of Geriatric Social Work at Boston University. She holds BSW from The Catholic University of America and an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis.
