REVIEW OF EAS
EAS is a manufacturer of many nutritional supplements targeted toward body builders. However, these supplements are very well known and have made their way into the main stream weight loss marketplace. EAS states that its mission is “Just as you have a passion to be the best you can be, we're passionate about scientifically formulating products that give you extraordinary results”. EAS manufacturers a great deal of different products, all claiming to be able to enhance muscle gain and weight loss.

REVIEW OF EAS
EAS manufactures numerous products. We will take a look at some of their weight loss formulas today. Their product line includes what they call “EAS Fuels” which fall into the following categories: Myoplex® Original, Myoplex® Deluxe, Myoplex® Lite, Myoplex® Carb Sense®, High Performance Fuels, Foundation Fuels and Endurance Fuels. EAS also manufacturers Fuel Stacks and energy formulas, as well as low carb products. Their product line can be a bit overwhelming and confusing, particularly when viewed in its entirety. These EAS Fuels come in a variety of flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and cappuccino, just to mention a few. We were glad to see this because flavor is a very important component in products such as this. There is little doubt, in our minds, that you have seen the products mentioned above, on the store shelf at one time or another. However, familiarity and popularity does not automatically translate into a confirmation as to a products effectiveness as a weight loss or muscle building formula. We have carefully reviewed EAS’s product line in order to ascertain its effectiveness. EAS’s products for the most part are protein driven formulas, which are purported to be able to increase muscle gain; as well as being able to be used as a meal replacement to stimulate weight loss. However, there is nothing new in the technology used by EAS. There are a great many protein based formulas available on the market today. We did review one of the EAS Fuel stack formulas – Catapult. This product is a lemon lime flavored formula, which is purported to be able to “boost exercise intensity and energy” by EAS. It utilizes Alpha-GPC in its formula, which is suggested by EAS to be able to Increase the production of endogenous human growth hormone, which EAS indicates will then increase energy. However, there is little research available to support this theory. This is an inherent problem, to us, with many of EAS formulas, as they use many ingredients which have no proven effect on muscle gain, boosting endurance or creating weight loss. However, we were glad to see that EAS products do contain some vitamins and minerals.
