- Just Vote Arizona! Disability Vote Coalition was launched on the recognition that there is a unity of purpose and shared goals within the disability community that supersedes ideology. Essential principles unite us as a community, including commitment to equal access and equal opportunities rather than exclusion and denial. An orientation towards self-direction and choice, and a firm belief that everyone should be given the tools they need to achieve self-empowerment, independence, and community inclusion. To achieve these goals, Just Vote Arizona! Disability Vote Coalition is designed to be a long term venture that mobilizes the disability community over time so that the democratic, societal impact of this community can be felt and heard. The tactics to reach these goals of visible societal participation are centered on the registration of community members to vote, significant efforts to encourage these community members to vote, and lastly, to measure the project’s success in both registration and voting mobilization efforts.
