Yukon Wild is a consortium of 26 independent companies offering some of the premier wilderness trips in the Yukon and surrounding areas. The consortium's goal is to provide adventurous travelers with a central source of information about the range of activities that are possible in the North-one of the world's last true wilderness destinations. Yukon Wild is staffed and directed by the Wilderness Tourism Association of the Yukon.
This web site is the cornerstone of Yukon Wild's efforts. It provides brief overviews of 15 different activity categories, including links to the web sites of appropriate operators. This gives you the power to make easy comparisons between alternative types and styles of available adventures, and to select the one that best suits your interests and abilities.
The Yukon Wild web site also includes a short section about each participating member-again, with links to individual web sites where you can find detailed information about adventure products and even book a trip online.
